The Girl and her Tiger

Hey, amigos :) So, I wrote a poem about a boy and a flower but this time it's about a girl and her tiger, whom she cherishes the most in her life. And no, this tiger is nothing like Shere Khan or Richard Parker :P Esperando Que Les Guste... Once upon a time Maybe not that long ago With the onset of autumn or so A baby girl chortled her way into the jungle Jaunting through it, she came across Wonderful creatures to play along No matter what the shape or sound Each was exceptional to have around But one that was dear to her heart Was none other than the tiny tiger cub Day in and day out she nurtured the cub Hoping that someday it will become the majestic one As the time passed by, It became arduous for her to satisfy The needs of the apple of her eye Skeptical  that maybe She wasn't enough for the baby Thought it would be better To find someone else to cater The one that would match her capa...

Garden Flower

Hey, readers :) Here I am sharing with you another poem that I wrote, around 2 years back. I have published it before on  Watstory  but also here so all of my poems are in one place.  Esperando Que Les Guste... In a garden, a flower bloomed with a different hue, It was as pure and fresh as a morning dew. Full of tenderness and kindness to offer, That is valued more than any gold-filled coffer. A fragrance that took one to a utopian place, Where everyone is gentle and shows grace. But as it is said “one bad apple spoils a bunch”, That’s what happened when they let it scrunch. Soon it lost all its shine and vigour, And then the day came when it started to wither. All it needed was some rain and sunshine, But all it got was pain and no one to call mine. ~ Kanika Kaushal ✨ The Luminous Muse

A Little Boy

Hey, people! My apologies, I have been away from the writing scene for a long time. I guess this is what a writer's block is all about :P Anyway here I am again, with a story, but the only difference this time is that I have woven the words into a poem. Esperando Que Les Guste... I once knew a little boy Whose act of kindness gave us joy No matter what the problem He didn't give up and reached for the sky One day while strolling through the woods He found something captivating in the redwoods Enchanted with the pristine flower he discovered Ran towards it, oblivious of what it concealed under Just like 'Everything that glitters ain't gold' The mystery of the flower was about to unfold The floret thrived on pliant souls Draining anyone who got its hold Soon the little boy wasn't that benevolent anymore Time passed by, and he was abhorred And though the floret shimmered day and night All and sundry stayed away fro...

Alone At The Movies

Hey everyone! So I am venturing into the world of blogging and what better way to kick start then sharing my ludicrous experiences. Hope you enjoy it :) Before I begin with my movie time experience let me lay the ground work. It all started with a good friendship gone sour. I am in college (yeah crazy times ) and as we all know the majority of the memories we create during college is with some pretty weird but awesome friends. And as it happens sometimes in life that we tend to drift apart from the people we love the most same case happened with me. Although the reason behind this separation is stupid ( yup it is because I think even kids handle fights better than us adults :P ). Anyways to cut the long, boring story short I had movie coupons and friends who were not on talking terms with me and my sister who didn't want to go the movies with me cause she didn't want to just simple as that. Yes, sisters are pain in the ass but I still love her ( I have too!! I mean she...
