Hey, people! My apologies, I have been away from the writing scene for a long time. I guess this is what a writer's block is all about :P Anyway here I am again, with a story, but the only difference this time is that I have woven the words into a poem. Esperando Que Les Guste... I once knew a little boy Whose act of kindness gave us joy No matter what the problem He didn't give up and reached for the sky One day while strolling through the woods He found something captivating in the redwoods Enchanted with the pristine flower he discovered Ran towards it, oblivious of what it concealed under Just like 'Everything that glitters ain't gold' The mystery of the flower was about to unfold The floret thrived on pliant souls Draining anyone who got its hold Soon the little boy wasn't that benevolent anymore Time passed by, and he was abhorred And though the floret shimmered day and night All and sundry stayed away fro...
Why the ambiguous name? Well, though to people around me, I seem like an extroverted person but when it comes to sharing some stuff, I am kind of awkward but I have amazing stories to share. I mostly express myself through "elegy" form of poetry writing and the themes are usually about self-reflection, friendships, loss, love and depressive phase.
