The Girl and her Tiger

Hey, amigos :) So, I wrote a poem about a boy and a flower but this time it's about a girl and her tiger, whom she cherishes the most in her life. And no, this tiger is nothing like Shere Khan or Richard Parker :P Esperando Que Les Guste... Once upon a time Maybe not that long ago With the onset of autumn or so A baby girl chortled her way into the jungle Jaunting through it, she came across Wonderful creatures to play along No matter what the shape or sound Each was exceptional to have around But one that was dear to her heart Was none other than the tiny tiger cub Day in and day out she nurtured the cub Hoping that someday it will become the majestic one As the time passed by, It became arduous for her to satisfy The needs of the apple of her eye Skeptical  that maybe She wasn't enough for the baby Thought it would be better To find someone else to cater The one that would match her capa...

Garden Flower

Hey, readers :) Here I am sharing with you another poem that I wrote, around 2 years back. I have published it before on  Watstory  but also here so all of my poems are in one place.  Esperando Que Les Guste... In a garden, a flower bloomed with a different hue, It was as pure and fresh as a morning dew. Full of tenderness and kindness to offer, That is valued more than any gold-filled coffer. A fragrance that took one to a utopian place, Where everyone is gentle and shows grace. But as it is said “one bad apple spoils a bunch”, That’s what happened when they let it scrunch. Soon it lost all its shine and vigour, And then the day came when it started to wither. All it needed was some rain and sunshine, But all it got was pain and no one to call mine. ~ Kanika Kaushal ✨ The Luminous Muse
